Cinematographer
Jaclyn began her early career in art photography and post production, encompassing editorial & commercial composite before moving into film as a colourist.
With beginnings in music video and live music film experimentation, Jaclyn is now a cinematographer working in short & longform narrative film. Her narrative debut as DOP on the AACTA-nominated short ‘Mud Crab’ (2022) won her Best Cinematography at both St Kilda Film Festival 2023 & Stellar Short Film Festival 2024.
Jaclyn’s follow-up as DOP on Good Oil Films’ short ‘We Used To Own Houses’ (2023) premiered at MIFF 2023.
Her upcoming projects include feature film ‘Colossus’ directed by David Robinson-Smith, as well as multiple short films currently in post.
In 2024, Jaclyn was selected as one of the cinematographers in IF Magazine’s Rising Talent issue.
She was also awarded the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) 2024 John Leake OAM ACS Emerging Cinematographer Award.
